What is Time Management?
"Time management is the management of the time spent, and progress made, on project tasks and activities."

For me, Time Management refers to planning of your project timeline and the amount of time catered for the different tasks in the project.
What are some Time Management tools?
Gantt Chart
The Gantt chart provides the outline and highlights the major milestones in the project. It shows the amount of time given for the various deliverables to be completed and the overall schedule of the project.
"A Gantt chart is a commonly used graphical depiction of a project schedule. It's a type of bar chart showing the start and finish dates of a project's elements such as resources, planning and dependencies."

How to make a Gantt Chart?

Our Let's Kawan! Project Gantt Chart (picture above) includes the timeline of the different tasks in the project, task owner and duration. The Gantt Chart is divided into two sections which includes Planning and Implementation of Program. It shows the entire project from start to end. At first, we planned for our task of "Contacting of Partnership" to last for 2 weeks, however, since our initial project proposal was rejected, we had to extend the duration to 4 weeks. This affected the entire Gantt Chart thus we had to relook at the tasks and duration and update the timeline. In the end we cut down our goal of having 6 sessions to having only 4 sessions .
Key Values:
The Gantt Chart was useful as it helped to give us an overview of our project’s timeline and allow us to track our progress. The Gantt Chart tells us when certain tasks had to be completed in order for our project to progress which helps us to stay on track.
Challenge:
We had many deliverables, so the Gantt Chart looked complicated. Additionally, it was hard for us to gauge the time needed for certain tasks to be completed. For instance, the duration of the Planning section in our Gantt Chart was not fixed as we were unsure when our proposal of our project would be accepted, thus, we had to keep updating the Gantt Chart which was time-consuming.
